James is a country boy from Urbana, Missouri near Pomme De Terre Lake. He is a graduate of HARD WORK! He built his first home in 1971 with this wife, DeLonna Rose, in Lone Jack, MO. They know the work involved in building homes by doing it themselves. DeLonna Rose has been a realtor since 1983. James has two daughters both married a living in Lee's Summit – Don and Heather Barbour of Barbour Concrete in Independence and Chris and Chantel Miller with Capital One Home Loans. The whole family loves the New Home Industry. James also enjoys fishing and spending time at the lake boating. James has been building for 38 years. He started in construction as a framer for Teague Construction in 1969 and started his own framing company in 1979. He has been involved in both home building and remodeling. Since 1991 he has built primarily in the Blue Springs, Independence and Lee's Summit areas. Currently James is involved in building at Edgewood Villas in Oak Grove, Sterett Creek Village in Warsaw, close to the Sterett Creek Marina and Pryor Meadows in Lee's Summit.
